Aquora ("we," "our," or "us") is an iOS app for aquarium water parameter tracking and AI-powered coaching. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Ever.
Account information. When you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple-provided user identifier and, if you choose to share it, your email address. We use this solely to authenticate your account.
Tank and parameter data. Information you provide about your aquariums — including tank name, type, volume, livestock, and water test readings (pH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, temperature, and other parameters) — is stored in your account and synced to our servers.
Voice input. When you use the voice logging feature, your spoken audio is transcribed using Apple's Speech Recognition framework. Audio is processed on-device or by Apple and is not stored by Aquora. The resulting text transcript may be sent to our AI service to parse parameter values and generate coaching advice.
Usage data. We collect basic, non-identifying usage information (such as app version and feature usage patterns) to improve the app. This data is not linked to your identity.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not share it with third parties except as described in this policy.
Supabase. We use Supabase to securely store your account and tank data. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Supabase's privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.
Anthropic (Claude API). Coaching and voice parsing features are powered by Claude, Anthropic's AI. Text descriptions of your tank parameters and livestock may be sent to the Anthropic API to generate responses. No audio is transmitted. Apple. Sign In with Apple and In-App Purchases are handled by Apple. Apple's privacy policy is available at apple.com/privacy.
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete Account). Upon deletion, your data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.
Aquora is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at the address below.
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes via the app or email. Continued use of Aquora after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
